The safety of the product is increased through a smart mechanism that disconnects the knob from the back of the lock when the padlock is inserted in the housing: the knob turns freely without acting on the back, making it impossible to force the lock. The same mechanism provides for an additional safety, i.e. it does not allow the padlock to be inserted in the open position, but only when the knob is in the closed position.
